ASUU AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

Seriously, like I  don't know how to do this. But still when it comes to education, issues are meant to be taken seriously, as we are talking about the future leaders. That's why writing a little about the ongoing ASUU strike makes more sense...
Now talking about the ongoing strike which entered its 62nd day today, has been an insulting issue which shouldn't have arisen again after past years of the same ASSU strike, going into the negotiation table each time and being given the same assurance that their full demands would be met after resolving part of the negotiations to a certain stage.
Now it all looks a shame seeing ASUU having the same strike with the same issues. We could understand now that the federal government aren't sincere and don't value the need to invest in the educational sector....
With the federal government coming out with just less than half of the demands of ASUU this time around, attributing that to excuses of not having money to meet the demands of ASUU sounds absurd. Because personally, I can't imagine a country like NIGERIA not able to have more than 90billion naira in her account to release...
Well, since the federal government claims they don't have money, then I suggest the FG should reduce the salaries of all government officials in the country, especially at the federal level. As by now we are all aware of the large sum these politicians earn as salaries even with the 'nothing' they are doing...talking about other suggestions and more on education talks you can check oureducationourfuture.wordpress.com...
All this been said, I hope FG and ASUU reach an agreement to the benefit of ASUU and students, in order for infrastructural development and producing efficient and capable graduates out of our universities....from me, i'm wishing ASUU success...comment if u agree with this!!!
